Pussycat Doll asks Barlow to pen song

Nicole Scherzinger is desperate for Gary Barlow to write her some songs.

The Pussycat Dolls star is keen to relaunch her solo career and thinks the Take That frontman is the perfect person to pen her some tracks.

A source said: 'Nicole believes that everything Gary puts his hand to is amazing. She is convinced he can provide the hit she needs.'

Nicole – who is dating Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton – has had varying success with her attempts to launch a solo career in the past but is convinced working with Gary will give her the edge she needs.

Nicole, who is also working on the Pussycat Dolls’ third album, is not the only singer who has tried to enlist the help of Gary.

It was recently reported Cheryl Cole is hoping he will pen her a hit ballad for her debut solo album.

The Girls Aloud beauty asked Gary, 38, to write her a song during their charity hike up Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief earlier this year.

Gary has previously said of the 26-year-old star: "Cheryl is great. She's fun, feisty and knows her stuff!"
